User Guide

Essential information for setting up, using and maintaining LUMA-6CH on the local network, without a mandatory account or cloud service.

1 / Before you begin

LUMA-6CH is a professional LED lighting controller with 12–24 V DC input, six power channels and two data outputs for addressable LEDs. Complete the electrical installation before software setup.

Safety

Disconnect power before working on any connection. Always consult Safety Information for mounting, wiring and protection requirements.

2 / Local access

  1. Power LUMA and connect the device to the network used for commissioning.
  2. From a compatible browser, open the local address shown by the webapp or luma.local when available on the network.
  3. Complete initial setup, assign clear names to zones and channels, and retain a copy of the configuration.

The interface is served directly by the device. Core local functions do not require an OBJEX LABS account.

The 500 W combined limit always takes precedence over the individual channel limit. Configure each output for the load actually connected.

Manual control

On, off and dimming by zone or channel from the local dashboard.

Scenes and schedules

Group states and levels, then run them manually or on a local schedule.

Physical inputs

Map installed switches and controls to actions supported by the configuration.

Local integrations

KNXnet/IP / MQTT / REST / Home Assistant

5 / Maintenance and support

  • Keep ventilation openings clear and periodically inspect the enclosure, terminals and wiring.
  • Install firmware only from OBJEX LABS and do not interrupt power during an update.
  • Before resetting or replacing the device, export its configuration when the function is available.
