Recycle Devices

Before disposing of LUMA, consider reuse, professional repair and return. Electronic equipment does not belong in unsorted municipal waste.

Last updated: 24 August 2026

1 / Reuse before recycling

If the device works, consider reuse in another compatible installation. Before transfer, remove network settings, credentials, certificates and installation-specific data using the firmware functions provided.

Do not open the device to attempt repairs. Contact OBJEX LABS to assess diagnosis, repair or replacement.

2 / Separate WEEE collection

Do not discard with household waste

Take the device to an authorised waste electrical and electronic equipment collection point or use the take-back system available in your country.

Separate collection enables recovery of metals and components and limits release of potentially harmful substances.

3 / Before handover

  1. Disconnect the installation and have qualified personnel remove the device.
  2. Erase configuration and credentials while the device is still operational.
  3. Separate the power supply, wiring, packaging and accessories according to local rules.
  4. Do not damage, burn or dismantle electronic assemblies.

4 / Return and local information

Take-back arrangements depend on country, sales channel and user type. Email info@objexlabs.com with country, quantity, model and revision to receive applicable instructions.
